Set in the beautiful countryside, Farnley Festival is an event not to be missed! Bringing together local businesses, live music and fun for all the family.

It is taking place on Saturday 16th May 2026 in the area behind and to the side of 'Field' just off Field Lane in Farnley Tyas. There will be activities throughout the day including village games, local artisan stalls, food, drink and a kid's zone, with live music throughout the day culminating in a festival style music event in the evening.

Teams from surrounding villages will take part in the 'Village Games' and play for the prestigious George Sawyer Cup - full details will be announced later, but come along and support your village!

The festival aims to bring the village and surrounding areas together whilst raising funds for local charities including: Forget Me Not Children's Hospice and The Kirkwood as well as Farnley Tyas (CofE) School and Farnley Tyas Bowling Club.

Raffle

We are running a special raffle on festival day with all proceeds going towards the NSPCC. There will be multiple prizes on offer including hampers, champagne, meals out, gift vouchers, hair cuts, flowers and many many more!!!

Tickets are £1 each, but please bring cash as there will be no card facilities for the raffle. The draw will take place at 3.30pm just prior to the main stage opening!

Please Note: You only win if you are there to claim your prize, so make sure you stay on-site!!
